I tend not to change contractors just for the sake of it as it’s also good to build a relationship and with PAT testing if the engineers are familiar with a site, it obviously facilitates the process.
In a highly competitive market, I had managed to negotiate a small reduction in price per item with the previous contractor for the last couple of years but this was not possible this year and in fact their price increased. Therefore from the quotes received I selected AGG to carry out the annual PAT testing.
The company documentation sent prior to the visit was very thorough and I was contacted beforehand to check on arrangements. The engineers were polite and efficient and the report was issued promptly.
